Works
The series Neko is built from abstraction as a territory of force and presence. The figure of the cat appears fragmented, suggested or absorbed by structures, patterns and chromatic fields that shift the figural reading. More than representing a recognizable symbol, the works activate a presence, a protective energy, intuitive, in constant tension between form and dissolution. In Neko, the body, the sign and the pictorial gesture coexist without hierarchies, building images that operate more as experience than as narration.
